Velvet Z is a granddaughter of the exceptional mare Sky High who was the first horse Abdel Saïd competed with at CSI5* level. Velvet’s dam, Nice Girl de Muze Z, is currently excelling in U25 classes in the USA with Emily and Ken Smith.
Like her dam and granddam, Velvet has a big heart, an excellent mentality, and a strong will to try—always giving her best alongside her rider. This kind and determined mare promises to be a rewarding partner for her future owner.
Granddam Sky High was very special to Abdel in his career, and with the 7-year-old Velvet Z, the story continues. She is a daughter of Vagabond de la Pomme, who was highly successful with Penelope Leprévost up to 160cm level. Dam Nice Girl de Muze Z is a daughter of Nabab de Rêve and also competed successfully at international level, especially in the USA at U25 level. Granddam Sky High was not only successful in sport, but also produced numerous international showjumpers and passes on her fantastic mentality.
